President's Advisory Committee

Duties: 

The President's Advisory Committee shall consider, advise, and make recommendation to the Council concerning the development and establishment of a code of ethics for the Society and any breaches thereof. It shall consider and advise the Council on any matter requested by the President or Council and may consider and make recommendations to the Council on any matter it considers appropriate.

Composition: The President's Advisory Committee shall be made up of all past presidents of the Society For Biomaterials with the Chairperson being the immediate Past-President.

Goals: 

The goals of the committee are to continue revising editorial processes within each journal; to represent SFB in AIMBE and the IUSBSE; to provide input to the Meetings Committee on sponsorship; to provide input to the Program Committee on the annual meeting program content; to provide input on leadership programs (mentorship and scholarship programs); and to continue development on a code of ethics for the Society.
