Biomaterials & Medical Products Commercialization

Developing and commercializing a useful new biomaterial or medical product can be difficult enough from a scientific perspective, but additional challenges may await you in bringing products to the market. Issues can arise in the regulatory, reimbursement, patent, litigation, economic, manufacturing and political realms, along with the unavailability of many materials for implantation. The B&MPC SIG members interact and exchange information on these and related issues, providing a forum to assist Society members in coping with uncertain and evolving matters in the commercialization of products.
