organizations and contact the organizations to
determine and initiate collaborative possibilities
which may include exchange of information, joint
meetings, news articles, literature displays, advertisements,
mailing lists, etc. |

| Establish collaborative
relationships with International Union of Societies
for Biomaterials Science and Engineering (IUS-BSE). |
Collaborate
with IUS-BSE in the international coordination
of professional issues such as fellow status and
activities by exchange of information, joint meetings,
news articles, literature displays, advertisements,
mailing lists, etc. SFB sends two delegates to
IUS-BSE as appointed by SFB Predident for four
year period. |

| Provide
effective liaison with standards making organizations. Liaise
on matters effecting the development and establishment
of standards relating to or associated with biomaterials. |
Member appointed
by President shall interact with Devices and Materials
Subcommittee to liaise with other standards-making
organizations regarding the development and establishment
of biomaterials standards. |
