Abstract Submission

The abstract submission site for the 2009 Annual Meeting is closed.

All abstract presenters have been notified.

Below is information for podium presenters, rapid fire presenters and poster presenters

Podium presenters

Audiovisual – A computer and LCD projector / screen will be provided in each meeting room. Please bring your presentation on disk, CD ROM or memory stick (PC compatible), so that it can be loaded onto the SFB computer before the start of your session. Each meeting room at the hotel will be networked from the speaker ready room where you will be asked to bring your presentation which will be uploaded to the SFB server and then sent to each meeting room. Additional specific information regarding formatting of your PowerPoint presentation will be sent to each presenting author prior to the meeting.

Please note that all presenters are expected to cover their own travel and lodging and pay the registration fees. ALL presenters are required to register for the meeting.

Failure to register will exclude your abstract from presentation and publication.

Rapid Fire presenters

The length of your presentation should not exceed 5 minutes.

As part of your acceptance in the Rapid Fire Session, you are also required to present a poster during the meeting, Your poster number is will be sent to the presenting author prior to the meeting.

Poster presenters

POSTER FORMAT and SET-UP

Each poster will have a display area of four (4) feet high by four (4) feet wide to display your materials.

You may display your information in figures, tables, text, photographs, etc. Please prepare all illustrations neatly and legibly beforehand, in a size sufficient to read at a distance of three (3) feet. A series of typewritten sheets attached to the poster board is not acceptable. Push pins (thumb tacks) will be available to fasten your material to the poster board.

Poster set up is to convene on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Posters MUST remain on display until 5:00 PM on Friday, April 24, 2009 at which time authors will be responsible for dismantling their poster. Any poster left on poster boards will be discarded. SFB assumes no responsibility for posters left on poster boards after 7:00 PM.
